tea tins
tea tins make great vases. i've found that most of them leak, so i put the flowers into a shot glass, and put the shot glass into the tin.
pearl river has really pretty ones that are inexpensive

rachel ray uses empty food cans. but.. she would.

ha...also...mason jars, i use them to store my pasta in after i've opened the box...especially spinach, or wheat, cause it's colorful...neater than an opened box with tape on it. but i guess thats cause i live alone and have no one to share with.
