i heard a story on NPR several weeks ago about a about a charm bracelet that, 20 years ago, accidentally found its way into the wrong bag because of airport security.
the women who found it tried to find the owner by calling the airport, but had no luck. the commentator on npr asked that if any listener thought the bracelet was theirs, to call the radio station, and identify one of the charms on the bracelet.
as chance would have it, i was listening again last week, and the owner of the charm bracelet actually heard the story, recognized the bracelet as hers, and called! NPR reunited the woman with the charms she lost two decades ago while traveling in london.
