the new elle decor magazine has a drop-dead gorgeous photo tour of a marrakech home. the architecture is amazing -- i mean, look at the archways, the staircase, the ceilings?? -- as is the paint, stencils, fabrics, and more. here are a few of the pictures (or check out the full slide show).

i wonder what life would be like if i had those lamps and that headboard. i'm imagining it would be quite nice.



why don't you stay for dinner? no trouble at all, we'll all just pile into the dining nook, it'll be cozy and relaxing. i'll just whip up some quick moroccan specialty and it will taste better because of the ambiance! really!
