i've enlisted erika to help me find something big and weird and semi-flashy to put over the dresser in our bedroom.

Can't wait to see what Erika finds!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat about a big random mixture of old fan blades? (I just found one on eBay and have a post coming on it and some other things in a few minutos).

They have some huge vintage maps at Revival on Capital Blvd -- in the back room. Happy hunting!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about art - but if you don't mind my asking, where did you find your bedding? The pattern and colors are absolutely fantastic!
ReplyDeleteGood googly moogly - those are some delicious photos!
ReplyDeleteI love when you share photos of your home...it's so pretty and cool and sophisticated! That crocheted (I think, at least?) lampshade is amazing. And I would seriously live in that one bathroom...wow! What about a mirror? One with a white ornate frame, or maybe a silver one? I like simple.
ReplyDeleteJust a few ideas -
ReplyDelete1. an Elliot Pukette painting
2. paint the walls a pale sea
3. paint on the walls quince branch
4. words like "DREAM ON" painted on the wall -
exploded and in a matte/high gloss.
not that you need any ideas, with scout erika!

I love that bath tub. I have always wanted one but living in Vegas I don't feel like people put that kind of character in their houses here. sad.
ReplyDeleteemily - you live in vegas!?! I'm coming for new years! My first time!
ReplyDeletethe spread is from urban outfitters!
ReplyDeleteand that is that. . .
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love the bathroom! Especially that TUB... divine!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I hope you stumble upon the perfect piece! I have spaces in my home where I know something is missing & I tend to leave them blank for a while because I don't want to put something up that feels forced. Usually if I'm patient, I'll find something great. That's just me though! :)
ReplyDeletejust a thought, but I think "Slip it to me" as art in your bedroom is a little dirty. or perhaps have i just seen too many movies directed towards teenage boys?
