I have two knappa pendant lights in my bedroom. I think they look great grouped together, but they don't put out a ton of light. Definatly not enough to be the only light source in a room (in the bedroom we also have 2 bedside lamps and 2 canister lights).

The knappa lights are so great- I don't have one but my sis in law does. I wouldn't say it puts out a ton of light, but enough for ambient lighting :)

I just saw this lamp and have to share. It is a little more expensive that the knappa, but still reasonable, I think. It would also be lovely in a grouping of 2 or 3.

The Ikea description says it takes an 11w bulb, which is very low. Three of them together don't equal the light of one normal 45w bulb.

I'm not too helpful but I just want to say thanks for asking this question! I've been considering the knappa for our bedroom.

ditto...we have one in my daughter's room...love how it looks, but a little dim, so throw in lots o occasional lighting!

I have a knappa pendant light in my living room and with the right kind of CFL bulb, it emits enough light (and we have a pretty dim living room). It does say it uses an 11W bulb, but I believe it means CFL bulbs, not standard/normal bulbs. The luminosity of an 11W bulb varies from standard to CFL (which is the equivalent to 45-60W of light -- not energy used). I love it! Grouped together would look cool, too.

Max 60 watts can be used, so you're not hemmed in. If you grouped a couple of them, and you used Reveal light bulbs, you could have a LOT of good light.
