How'd your little one do; did you get him a doggie life preserver??? I love the idea of them, even if it's just for the photo op!
glad to hear it went well!! we took our golden retreiver canoeing at night once...he jumped out of the canoe and we lost him for what seemed like an eternity!! the current was pretty strong so i was freaked out! i screamed like crazy and he swam back to us, thank goodness!! :)

he did great! he actually didn't have a life jacket, although i guess he should. he just sat in the front, b/t my legs and looked at birds.
