i was JUST thinking about chopping it off too... damn you! my hair is so thick it takes FOREVER to straighten when it's long... grr...

amen sister! i just cut my hair off too and while it's cute (i guess) and i did cut it off because my long hair was driving me crazy, i am having some SERIOUS long hair envy now!

I'll be the odd one out and say I cut off my very long hair last month, and I LOVE having short hair. I was terrified of getting the "soccer mom" look--I'm single and 25!--but oddly enough, I get much more male attention now than I did with long hair. Even better, my boyfriend loves it.

Maybe you can keep the short hair but ditch the soccer mom vibe by getting it cut into a different style? I'm sure it's not as bad as you think!!

I think that short hair is sexy and supposedly is going to be very big in 2009! Consider yourself a trend setter!

ive had short hair for the past 7+ years and i've been trying to grow it out...everytime i see short hair i am so tempted to lob it all off!

I cut mine above my shoulders in August and I regret it!! It is taking forever go grow out!!

You can have it both ways. Just get extensions and yank 'em back out when it gets too much. That's what every celebrity does. Their hair is way to overprocessed to have any sort of length on their own.

Oh don't make me cry. I did the "mom chop" about a year ago after I had my baby. After loving my short hair for 2 weeks I started missing my hair. And I haven't stopped :(

i feel your pain! i had butt-length hair that was actually healthy and i chopped it all off, a la katie holmes. it was cute for like 2 weeks but now it's growing out and i look horrendous AND there's absolutely no escaping it because it's too short to put up.

on the flip side, i bet those are extensions. not even real hair.

It's okay to get it cut short every once in a while. Sometimes you need a fresh growth.

Oh girl! totally agree, I just cut mine right before new years and it is an adorable cut but I honestly want my long hair back! I should have listened to my stylist when he said he'd cry if I cut it!
