today i received one of the prettiest things i've ever bought on ebay.
this mirror, ordered for a client. you have no idea how good looking it is in person.
i've already hung it up in my house and pranced around it. it's just that gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteI love a convex mirror! Now, this might not be your thing, but you can get those cheapy Syroco federal mirrors on ebay, and then spray paint the frame. I've done it a couple of times--here's a pic.

ReplyDeleteVery weird - I was just about to buy this same mirror from an estate sale this weekend, but it was gone when I got there. The house belonged to a lifer Naval officer, and this was in the entry way. The. Same. Exact. Mirror.
ReplyDeleteI already had plans on what I wanted to do with it. But *sigh* it was already snatched up. I'll have to wait for the next one to come along. sad face.
if i thought my grandma knew how to use ebay i'd swear this was hers. but then again that would mean she would have had to sell it which is an absurd thought for my depression-era pack-rat g'ma.
