smell ya later pier 1

if the rumors are true, and pier 1 is in fact dunzo, i need to go stock up on my trusty patchouli scent.

i'm not a hippie, and i don't pour patchouli oil on the dog or anything (ahem, betsy), but i do love a good patchouli candle.
pier one's reed diffusers, the room spray and the candles - all in patchouli = all my faves.

especially in the basement of dreams and guacamole which has become my office and conveniently the location of the third catbox of doom. good smells are MUCH needed down here.

    i remember when pier 1 was *the* place to go for inexpensive, really cool imported things. anyone remember when they sold clothes?
    i guess they continued with their imported things - but moved far away from inexpensive and cool.

    Haaaaaa!
    Pollock loves a brush down with a little dab of Patchouli oil. And I prefer it to the smell of Bunny Poop or Deer Carcass or whatever else he manages to find and waller in.

    What??? I hadn't heard that Pier 1 is going under...I suppose I don't shop there much, but it's nice to know that they are there if I need them. They do have the best reed diffusers, although I usually go with the ones that smell like food:)

    the patchouli thing works for "pocket" (pollock), I can vouch. And my catbox is in the basement office too, I hate it!
