i'm wondering if...

you can get a budget interpretation of a peter dunham-ish textile using this pattern from target (there's a coverlet - but no picture)

I'm doing my parents bedroom right now and the coverlet would look beautiful in the mix with herringbone tweed and indigo ticking.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip.
too much red for me, but it's a pretty room none the less.
ReplyDeleteI do, I do, I really, really do!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a room that was decorated to be published. I guess it seems careerist to me--calculated.
ReplyDeleteOT but did you hear about the ex-Domino editor who's starting a new online Domino-esque magazine? It's called Lonny (London + NY)
ReplyDeleteI have had this pic in my list of favorites since I first saw it! I love color & don't seem to tire of the suzani fabric or the Weinrib rug ever. Haven't seen the coverlet at Target yet but good find! Love it.
ReplyDeletethe bedroom - yes!
ReplyDeleteyes! rug + bench + yellow lamps = success.
ReplyDeleteI really like it!
ReplyDeleteyep. this is one of my favorite all-time bedrooms.
ReplyDeletehmm - I guess I'm one of the few who doesn't. It seems like something is missing. But I'm no expert :)
ReplyDeleteLove the lamps, rug and bench...otherwise it falls a bit short for me, but it could be the color combination...it's not my favorite. I'd also like to see something larger and more interesting on the wall over the bed.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me claustrophobic, but I don't think that's the fault of the decor.
