i must take a moment to report that i have yet to find a towel as soft and plush as thomas o'brien's from target. $9.99 for the bath sheet - and still puffy after lots of washes.
old navy v-neck pocket tees. add skinny jeans and a scarf = fashionable
$5.00 each
morningstar crumbles mealstarters
perfect for chili, mexican delight, omelettes and other alternatives to brian meares meatful dinners.
american eagle khakis.
they fit (unlike the evil thigh eaters), and they have pretty little bits on the inside, like ribbon and dots.

neutrogena calming make up remover wipes. brian meares uses them too - it's all very showy and dramatic, but he seems to enjoy them.

I have a friend who used to be a buyer for Target and she said some of the towels are the same quality as you get in department stores. They are basically the same towel, diffrent price tag.
ReplyDeleteWe have the Thomas O'Brien one and they have been fluffy and super good looking for 2+ years.
Update on Old Navy. Just got a bunch of $5 tees 50% off. I almost fainted when the girl rang them up for $2.49.
ReplyDeleteThose towels are indeed awesome. They are frequently on sale, too, which is always a plus.
ReplyDeletethigh eaters...genius!!
ReplyDeletet. obrien towels r the best!! the rest of your staples i must try.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Old Navy is having some bonkers sale right now. And I discovered that their "Diva" (sigh) skinny jean is a damn close replica of the J. Crew Matchstick jean, but for $29.50 instead of $98.
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing about these Old Navy tees - must try. We have some Fieldcrest towels from Target & they are actually pretty nice. These sound even better ... I take it the fab-looking JCrew cropped pants didn't pan out as fabulously looking on body? :)
ReplyDeleteI love my Thomas O'Brien towels too - and those facewipes (!) just finishing up my first pack and they are the best I've found yet. Love the scent too.
ReplyDeletenope, jcrew pants were a huge disappointment. one size way too small in the thighs, next size up was way too baggy in then waist. boo.
ReplyDeleteI love this miss jamie! Thank you! I wonder if I can sneak the morning star stuff into our food without my husband knowing... hmm...
ReplyDeleteI also want every color of that Old Navy tee.
T. O'Brien's towels are my absolute favorite, too. We've had ours for several years and they are still wonderful. The color seletion is also very nice.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you on the Thomas O'Brien towels! I try and tell everyone I know, but sometimes people just cannot believe that such a think a Bath SHEET of quality can be had for $9.99!

Okay, like everyone else here - I, too, love the Thomas O'Brien bath towels from Target. I've had mine for about 3 years now, and they're still wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteBut I have to admit that we do have 2 towels that are softer - they were bamboo/cotton mix that I picked up at Tuesday morning a while back.... they are NIIIIICE.
BUT!!! The Target towels are way softer than the "expensive" towels we got for our wedding - so go figure.
Good to know about the pants - I will have to go and try them on. I have the same problem with fit that you do.
Thomas O'Brien towel FTW. The Fieldcrest sheets are also the stuff.
ReplyDeleteAlso love the T. O'Brien towels. I bought Pottery Barn towels and TO towels around the same time. The PB towels are stuck in the guest bathroom because every body hates them and we use the TO towels instead.
ReplyDeleteYEEESSSS! Just bought a black and a grey pair of these AE pants last week. $40! Say whaaat? I've been on a hunt for basic great fitting pants for pretty much my whole life, and these are IT. Who knew?! AE? Nutso.
