xoxo, martha
martha emails me ere so often, and most of the time, i'm all, 'woman, i'm busy'.
but today, i think she's on to something.
this punch is smart. i'm thinking use it to make a stencil, tape that bad boy on the front of some dresser drawers, spray paint and take things up a notch.

That Martha...
ReplyDeleteJamie if you buy this let me know how it works... I purchases a similar one and was a bit disappointed. Maybe my paper punching skills are not up to par!
ReplyDeleteif you end up doing your drawers you should post a tutorial about it! that's definitely something i'd like to try.
ReplyDeleteLet's talk stenciling---how do you make sure an intricate stencil stays down during spraying? I have this great stencil want to frost my entertainment center windows w/...just afraid of leakage.
ReplyDeleteLOL, gotta love Martha. Lemme guess - these aren't sold as a set.
ReplyDeleteCool punches, these would be great for adding to plain writting paper or to add a bit more fun to cards.
ReplyDeleteKyle Lynn, sometimes the punches are not very sharp when you get then for some reason, I find if you cut through aluminium foil a few times it can sharped them up and they cut better. Doesn't work for all but worth a quick shot.

ReplyDeleteI use spray adhesive. They have directions on the back of the can for either temporary or permanent setting. If memory serves me (without having to go look at ACTUAL can) for temporary use, you let the spray dry first, then apply to whtaever project your using. It works GREAT! And IF there is any leftover residue (which there shouldn't be, you just use a dab of alchohol, and PRESTO! your done.
This method has always worked great for me.
love
ReplyDelete'woman, I'm busy.'HAHAHAHAHA! Perfect.
ReplyDeleteWOW. This is fantastic! I heart Martha...the woman knows a thing or two.
ReplyDeleteyeah, these dont work with anything but reeeealy think paper. tried them on a thin cardstock (martha brand, natch) and it was a big fat FAIL. would not advise. Even Martha errs sometimes.
