ReplyDeletei love the shop & just about everything in it. the only thing i didn't see that i've been on the hunt for lately is some vintage baby clothes, for dressing my dog up.

only with a little more vintage flair.
my dogs are gonna love it.
anyhoo, the shop is fabulous, as is the globe!
I love the modern bird bowls, lusterware teacups & apple trinket box. I would like to see more dishes and barware because I also love the Swank cocktail set. And you should start wearing a watch Marc Jacobs & Betsey Johnson has pretty unique fun ones!
ReplyDeleteOohhh... I love all of these items! Especially the vintage pear dish and apple trinket box - not to mention those fabulous lustreware teacups!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite has to be Birds of America Vol. 1!
ReplyDeleteThe crying gypsy kid!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the tablecloth and the bowling pins. I kind of wish I had a small fire place then I could buy some and display them. I love the globe!
ReplyDeleteas many have observed i loved the new york table cloth...very original! also i really enjoyed the bird bowls, what a neat selection of vintage items...
ReplyDeleteI love that all her stuff is tons of fun, bright colors. I love the pear-shaped dish, the old wooden child's blocks, and the modern bird bowls. So much fun for the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI'd love the globe too. I'm sort of obsessed with old maps/globes.
Love all of the globes, of course, but I also like the brightly colored bowling pins. I've never seen such, and they're very fun. For more of...I'm always interested in seeing more vintage books available in shops.
ReplyDeleteI recently added Sweetshorn to my favorite sellers BECAUSE of all the vintage globes. After happening upon a very unique globe at a design store in San Francisco, I decided I'd start collecting my own. I'm also considering an old schoolroom desk and chairs for my dining area. I think years of helping my educator mother in the classroom has finally caught up to me...
ReplyDeleteI love the NY Tablecloth, the Bird Mug Set and the Tiny Graphic Set. Something about vibrant colors, I'm always drawn to them.

ReplyDeletelove the vintage bowling pins and the globes, this is a great shop!
ReplyDeletei don't wear a watch, it seems like I'd be giving in to some norm adulthood. i agree with becky, if you are going to do it, go bold and chunky, maybe even bling?
what i love:
ReplyDeletethe purple bookplates
the pan am bag
the ice request card!
the apartment sign
the yellow dansk shaker
the alphabet blocks
the tiffany playing cards
the regency martini set
what i'd love to see more of:
games(board and card)from the 40s, 50s, and 60s - some of them are so amazing design-wise. even if all the pieces aren't there, they're great for display.
and i'm voting yes on the watch-wearing. some great old men's watch or maybe a nixon (one of the metal ones).
i had a globe like this in my room when i was little and have been missing it lately. i wish i knew what happened to it.
I love all the globes. I should start collecting them. I also love the glass pear dish.
ReplyDeleteOf course you should wear a watch, but not just the same watch all the time.

LOVE the Marionette!
ReplyDeleteIts so hard to pick just one thing! One of my favorites is the yellow melamine bowl with the little silver handle...SO cute!
ReplyDeletethe teacups...my girls are all about teaparties these days. I didn't see the tablecloth everyone is gushing over; I'll have to go back.
ReplyDeleteEtsy is new to me so I honestly have no clue what to even ask for "more of". ?? but I'll be browsing it from now on.
Wooden Corkscrew and alphabet blocks are my choice.
ReplyDeleteThe globe's actually my favorite! But it seems like a nice, cute shop in general.
ReplyDeleteon the watch front - if you are looking for something ridiculously oversized in a good way (i think) look at the swatch watches - i want the full blooded in silver. shhhnazy. this is one of my first comments i think...so hello!
ReplyDeleteThe bowling decanter thing. That's pretty sweet. And I'm always pro-watch, but then I get freaked out if I can't see the time somewhere near me. Probably says something terrible about me.
ReplyDeleteI love everything! especially the vintage blocks... I would like to see more of those. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOh Oh I love anything vintage. I adore the alphabet blocks, funky cutting board, bowling pins, apartment sign and this superduper cool globe!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for Sweetshorn's introduction!!
the bird bowls are awesome and so is the apple trinket box!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I love the pirate painting! Amazing. And all of the globes, of course!
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Goodness.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any idea how long I've wanted a globe for???
I think I would put it on top of my bookshelf.
I love the HOLLYWOOD Regency Martini Set. I really like vintage glasses and plates!
You should definitely wear a watch, I would be lost without mine. I switch between Fossil, Roots, and Bulova watches.
that is a beautiful collection of beautiful things! i'd love to see more for the kitchen...specifically fun serving pieces and linens.
ReplyDeletebut, i do love that globe! i hope i win!
I love the bird bowls. Th wear only makes them more interesting. -lisanathan@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love this shop. I discovered them last week and almost bought one of the bowling pin sets. I also had my eye on an illuminated globe but when I went to purchase it, someone had beat me to it. Everything is so cool.
ReplyDeleteI am ice-picking my credit card out of the freezer so I can snag a set (or three) of vintage bowling pins. Perfect for our Big Lebowski party!
ReplyDeleteI just hopped over there and feel as though I took a trip to a bright and happy place. So many of the items remind me of my childhood. That turtle necklace would win a race with me. The globes are totally cool.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win one.

Well since you asked, I love the Colorful Bowling Pins, the APARTMENT Sign, and the 1960s PAN AM Bag. And also, of course, the globe. Every household needs one.
ReplyDeleteLove the owl pendant and the turtle necklace, but I'm a sucker for a good globe. Hope I win!
ReplyDeleteThe Mod Teacups. Swoooon.
ReplyDeletethe bowling sets are awesome, especially the slender tall dark wood ones. and the vintage letter blocks. i have the perfect place in mind for this globe!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love finding new awesome shops in etsy. Or, rather, other people finding them for me. :) Here, it's in the gold owl pendant, bird bowls, lustreware teacups and ALL the globes! I love globes ... esp vintage ones. I think their muted colours are sweet.
ReplyDeleteI lost a watch during our recent move & haven't replaced it yet. I don't miss it as much as I thought I would but I'm keeping my eyes open for a RED wraparound one. But I say YES because there are some awesome-looking ones out there!
I love the enamelware bowls. And all the globes. And the cute bowling sets. What a great new [to me] shop!
ReplyDeleteI like the wooden blocks best, but I think it's a great selection. The only things I might suggest are more old games (already suggested) or vintage cookbooks.
ReplyDeleteAs for the watch, I'm a fan of it. I don't have a suggestion for a company, but I do always pick Roman numerals for my watches.
Oh, any of the wooden bowling pins for my two scrumptious boys!
ReplyDeleteAs far as watches go, Rolex, preferably vintage and nothing flashy with diamonds or a big face. It's the only watch you will ever have to buy.
wow! where do i begin its all so lovely, can i have it all? theres a million things i want, i actually have most of the globes marked as my favorites on my profile. i love the hollywood martini set and the pan am bag is a must have!
ReplyDeleteI love the globes the best, and would love to see vintage maps, too. And, yes you should wear a watch, I'm partial to Fossil
ReplyDeleteLoved, loved, loved the needlework of the boy crying. I always admire the patience and attention to detail that a piece such as this requires.
ReplyDeleteOh, she's from Southern Pines :) I was born in Pinehurst and grew up in that area.
ReplyDeleteThe vintage globes are my favorite. My grandparents had one similar to this : http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20797234
I always wanted that globe. I would spend hours looking at it and imagining myself traveling to many far away countries. I'd plan a "trip," run over to the encyclopedias, and read about the countries I would be "visiting."
I was such a nerd.
I've always loved globes and have always wished i had one. After looking at her shop I can't see a thing she's done wrong..perhaps make the name of it in the header a bit bolder. As for choosing a fave...any globe please.
ReplyDeleteI'd love the 1950's bowling set and all the globes are fab.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little shop. I love vintage globes! I think that my favorite items on the site are the bowling pins - the colors and forms are so interesting. What would I love to see more of? - more stuff for walls.
ReplyDeleteLove the kitchen items -- the yellow melamine dish, the enamelware, the pink mosaic dish. Also the bird secret box. And finally, the vintage flight bags!
ReplyDeleteA big No vote on the watch. My wrist is itching just thinking about it.
