after much defeat, i finally had a successful weekend of ebay wins.

for the pink room - $42!


also for the pink room – where I hung a big paper lantern this weekend - a ceiling medallion~!


and for the guacamole party basement - $27!

    really like the rugs. do you have any search terms that were helpful? i have been looking around ebay for something similar for my (green) guestroom, but keep getting overwhelmed...

    I have been tempted to buy vintage rugs on ebay, with only one hesitation - are they stinky? Seriously, do they have an "other people owned me, and I smell like them" odor, and if so, how can you clean them?

    anon: i take them to a local rug dealer. they clean them for about $30.

    but all good rugs are old...in my opinion.
