really like the rugs. do you have any search terms that were helpful? i have been looking around ebay for something similar for my (green) guestroom, but keep getting overwhelmed...
ReplyDeletetry 'kelim' and 'kilim'
ReplyDeleteWinner, winner chicken dinner. Yay! Great wins. I'm sure they'll look amazing in your rooms.
ReplyDeleteWow, that last one is stunning! And lots of rug per $.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
Love your determination and the results! They are encouraging, Great finds!
ReplyDeleteCan you be in charge of finding rugs for my apt?
ReplyDeletethe guacamole room rug is AMAZING. what search terms helped you find that?
ReplyDeleteI have been tempted to buy vintage rugs on ebay, with only one hesitation - are they stinky? Seriously, do they have an "other people owned me, and I smell like them" odor, and if so, how can you clean them?
ReplyDeleteSeriously?! Amazing! I'm so impressed. I've paid more for little stuff on ebay. What a steal.
ReplyDeleteanon: i take them to a local rug dealer. they clean them for about $30.
ReplyDeletebut all good rugs are old...in my opinion.
