a glorious thing happened in my closet this week. this

turned into this!


i ripped all of the cheap wood shelves and replaced it with BESTA cabinets from ikea (more cheap wood!). no more mess! or at least that you can see - it's behind doors now!

    Lovely! How many times have you been down to the new Ikea in Charlotte? Part of me still wishes it were closer to the Triangle, but at least the distance is keeping me from going on too many spending sprees. Then again, our new Anthropologie store is supposed to open tomorrow, so it's not as if my bank account is safe. That state refund can't get here fast enough!

    what a difference!! sometimes when i do an overhall cleaning in my closet, i want to hang out in there afterwards. :) you should have a celebratory glass of wine in there.
