brian and rowdy went fishing on saturday, and i am still picking ticks off of both of them like it's my job. last night i looked at brian and he had one sticking out of his neck! i've picked NINE off of rowdy just this morning.
i hate them. tick season is in full swing. make sure to check your hairy friends, including husbands.

Our vet recommended switching to Frontline Plus for tick season. Then when fall/winter comes around switch back to Advantage. Be sure to keep a close eye on him because ticks in this area can carry some bad stuff with them.
ReplyDeletei went on a hike in umstead a few weeks back and found a tick burrowing into the nape of my neck the next day. i was thoroughly grossed out.

ReplyDeleteI'll post this anonymously, to protect the unnamed, but a certain brother of mine scared the bejesus out of my mom, squealing like a girl, all alone in the boy-campers' toilet, because he found a tick on his 11-year-old boys. Mom said that tick looked ready to pop.
