a raleigh sunroom - before and after
good morning friends. today i'm just real pleased to share with you a project i recently wrapped up with a fun client here in raleigh. she brought us in to furb up her empty sunroom, and furb we did! we kept only her sofa, rug and wall color, found two vintage chairs in her attic to recover, helped coordinate new custom window treatments and pillows, sourced gorgeous new mirrored chests, pointed her towards a few catalog purchases and found a home for her pretty framed botanical prints. hope you like!
before:
after:
now we've started on her dining room, and we're just waiting on a table to arrive and then i can show you the rest. here's a snippet of where we're headed:
a few things to get the look: lotus chandelier // furry stool // curtain fabric // navy greek key pillow // batik glass lamp // greek key garden stool // bone tray // island ikat wallpaper

ReplyDeleteI'm obviously in the minority but I love everything except that wall color. To me it is totally "off" and jarring. White or blue maybe?

ReplyDeleteall very modern but classic! that type of room is hard and sort of like tight rope walking, u have to be careful what u do bc if u dont do enough u just stay in one place and u dont get ppl talking and there is really no emotion, ppl get board and teird, but if u do 2 much there is so much going on u cant really control it and then u lose yourself in the room! that takes talent and time! i appauld u on your balence and eye for desine!!! good work!!! i think u would enjoy my blog, maybe check it out some time?
ReplyDeleteA luxurious room, I enjoyed it :)
