wrapping up a week in nyc
i'm flying home today from a long trip to nyc. with so many friends in town, the mood was extra festive. it was cold as all get out, but i had the right gear for what felt like the first time, so there was lots of exploring, eating and enjoying the holiday city vibes.
loved staying in the LES - inspiration everywhere. probably my favorite hood. |
trying shades at barton perreira |
added a constant reminder to help guide me a little closer |
i stayed at the hotel on rivington. digging the huge atrium dining room |
it's all we need, right? |
an amazing dinner with lots of friends at shun lee |
the always charming interior at il buco |
artwork spotted downstairs at billy reid |
brunch at cafe felix with jessica and rachel |
all the eating -- this time the delicious bread and crudo at il buco, and the delish hot toddy the bartender came up with on the fly for me |
feeling festive at the bowery hotel - i stopped in for a drink with friends staying there |
while i wait... |
i splurged this trip - a pair of green leather isabel marant boots had to be mine |
the holiday windows at bergdorf are always a treat |
tasty sushi at blue ribbon |
nick said i was dumb for taking a picture in a two way mirror, but he was cute enough to capture |
i stopped in for drinks at the newly opened turtle - loving this cute menu with the evil eye |
checking in on some progress upstate with nick - love these old floors and original grates |
a cabinet of treasures at tender button |
and last night we were lucky enough to score tickets to hamilton, and got to visit backstage after the show! |
