i poured over decorator virginia tupker's portfolio for a good bit last night, savoring all the english details and country-gone-chic feel she's clearly so great at.  imagine my surprise when i read her bio and discovered she lives in Connecticut (she did, however, grow up in london, so i didn't miss the mark entirely).  nevertheless, country mouse or city mouse, i love all of her textiles and the organic, cozy cottage feel she imbibes with sophistication.
