Best thrifting tip or trick Go Early and often, like voting. There are frequently lines to get into places with good stuff. And Always be kind. That applies in life and in thrifting. People will make deals with you and generally look out for you if you have a reputation for kindness.

Best thrift finds A large mid-century modern white lamp that’s now in our master bedroom. I didn’t buy it at first and went back for it. I think it was $10.  An 11x13 Persian rug in perfect condition. $50 lovely old pine cabinet in our living room for $20.
